I wonder how much abundance would flow into your life...

We often quit too soon, notice only what hurts, and miss the successes that are scattered throughout our day. I know it can get tough when weve had a bad day when were frustrated, overwhelmed, stuck or disheartened. But what if we decided to Keep Looking I know there is always a surprise around the corner, a success that I can appreciate, a gift that, while perhaps wrapped in lousy wrapping paper, is still a gift!

Remember, its all about focus so if we Keep Looking For Successes, its highly likely that we will find them! This is true in the other direction as well when you look for whats wrong, you cant help but find problems - works like a charm...

Imagine the energy, enthusiasm, and joy if you had the intention to Keep Looking for Successes, to not stop looking until you found one, or two I feel uplifted already! It reminds me of like a treasure hunt. There are so many treasures in our lives, but if you are as busy as I am, these treasures get either ignored or overlooked. I just love knowing that I will always find something if and when I Keep Looking
This is a great message and request to give to your mind "Dear mind, Please Keep Looking until you find something wonderful, successful, hopeful and full of joy! " Its a great command that your brain will follow until it succeeds. This is a new habit you need to practice if you want yet another tool to help you raise your vibration.

Maybe you need a reason to feel inspired to Keep Looking... Remember that our thoughts are real and carry energy and our vibration matters! When we are practicing raising our vibration the Law of Attraction will offer us more to feel good about, which raises our vibration again and attracts even more abundance - and the cycle continues! But when we are focused on anything negative, we stay in resistance to abundance.

Once we get in the habit to Keep Looking it will come so much easier to us, as every habit does after some genuine practice. What Do You Need Preparing A Budgie Cage

From the smallest parrots with great popularity among the lovers have budgies - their weight reaches up to 40 grams, and the length of their body is no more than 20 - 23 cm. Usually cages for budgies are sold equipped with perches, made of wood or hard plastics. But after that the owner of the feathery ones has to complete the interior with several real, rough, unattractive twigs, because if the budgie never changes the position of its toes and always holds tight to the flat and smooth surface of standard sick, its toes start swelling, rubbing sore and there start to appear wounds and scabs. If you don't have fine sandpaper to cover the floor, you can spread out under the layer of very fine ballast (or very coarse sand ) and an ordinary newspaper, which must not have colored illustrations. Most printing inks are poisonous for budgies. Something more that can threaten your birds is using twigs from the coniferous tree - yew, whose wood is also poisonous for birds. It is best for this purpose to use twigs from orchard trees.

WHAT DO THEY NEED?

My recommendation is to use transparent feeders - thus it will be easier for the budgie to find its food, when it sees the food. Feeders must be two types - one for seeds and sand with stones and another bigger one for the vegetation and fruit. The sand could be from the sea, mixed with crashed shells and mussels ( but not from the white one that is sold for the canaries), and the stones should be from granite or flint. Budgies get bored with the same toys, so it is better to change or to take turns of them into the cage. It is considered that a mirror makes the loneliness of the bird more endurable - looking into the mirror the bird start imagining that it is not alone, but I consider that constant looking in the mirror is not recommendable because of danger of inhibition.

Choose the most spacious cage, which you can afford and which you can dispose at home. It is considered that the ideal size of cage for a couple of budgies is 91/45/45 cm, and when only one bird is going to live in the cage its size could be 2/3 from the stated one. Don't be in a hurry with you purchase - many cages are sold in the zoo shops, but you can have the chance to buy a suitable already used one. Different constructions exist, so it is sensible not to hurry so that you can buy something really good. You buy a home for your budgies, where their life will pass, so do your best to choose such, where they will feel best. Choosing a cage it is not bad to think about some things. Is it spacious enough ? Is its shape proper - you might like a high circular cage, but in " lodgings " birds very often don't have enough room to move and to outspread their wings. It can seem less important, but closing the door must be secure. There should be a mobile plastic bottom in the cage, which to ease cleaning it. The sticks of the cage can be chromium plated or glazed and it is good to have horizontal not only vertical sticks on the sides of the cage so that the budgies can climb easily. The p erches must be located so that birds can reach all feeders and watering troughs and place one higher than the other ones. Don't install them near the sides of the cage, because staying on them, budgies will constantly rub there tails on the metal sticks. Prepare the cage before buying your feathery friend. And when you take it from the shop, put it in a cardboard box, handle it with care and quickly take it home. If it is cold outside wrap the box, but so that you don't reduce air flow. At hoe wash the whole cage with very hot water, but neither use soap nor washing detergents, use only special disinfection means, that are intended for birds'cages. This is absolutely compulsory if you have obtained a used cage. Dry very well the new home of the bird. Place a sheet of very fine sandpaper on the bottom and spread fine ballast. After that, install the perches, feeders and water troughs.

Birds don't like the location of the cage to be often changed, that is why choose the most proper place for them in your flat right in the beginning. The place should be lighted up enough, but not to be lit up directly by sunlight. If you have a glassed balcony from late spring to early autumn you can keep your birds there. You can put pots with big - leaved plants around the cage. Thus birds will feel well. The balcony should not be facing south, because during the hot summer days the bird can die of overheating. When temperatures get lower you should bring the bird inside the flat Watch out not to put it near the central-heating or other heating devices because air is drier there. When you bring the birds in be careful because the make lots of mess around especially when they start flying in the cage.

It is known that budgies like to have company - your feathery pet will feel best in the room where the whole family gathers. Choose a room, where you can let the bird fly free -this is very important for its education. Budgies also need fresh air - that it why the room should not be stifling. Exactly because of this reason the cage of the birds should not be put in the kitchen as some beginners do. The steam that appears when cooking is harmful for birds. Except for that, it is very dangerous when flying in the kitchen the budgie to have a tragic end. The cage should not be put in front of the window - there the sensitive feathery creatures very sensibly feel the atmosphere changes - the cold in winter and the burning sunrays in summer. The cage should not be exposed to draughts, very close to the radiator of the central heating or near the fire place. Whether the cage is placed on a special for this purpose rack is not very important - it could be placed on every solid table or shelf. But on a special rack the cage takes less space, it can be put higher, which the birds will like and it will be easier to move it.

Budgies suffer if the don't sleep enough. That is why you should cover their cage with a light material - it reduces light, but birds don't stay in full darkness.

About a year ago now, I went along to a presentation on sales. The presenter advised us to think about peoples personalities when selling as four key animals Monkeys, Lions, Dolphins and Elephants. Although all of us have a mixture of these personalities within us, were all dominated by one of them too.

Knowing this information can be especially helpful when writing sales proposals; going to sales meetings and writing websites. Ideally you need to have something in there for all of these different types of personalities. Heres a quick guide to making sure you have something in there that appeals to all sorts of different people.

For instance - for the Lions - those people who like to be leaders:

Keep things brief and to the point
List the key benefits and results right at the top of your proposal in bold
Add in a testimonial of someone who they respect
Concentrate on RESULTS

For the Elephants - those people who like detail:

Add in EXACTLY what you're going to do for them
Throw in a couple of charts/graphs/facts/statistics
Detail the metrics/results that they're likely to see
Concentrate on the DETAILS

For the Dolphins - those people who like people and also reassurance

Give an example of a story (not a case study though, but a story) of someone who has benefited from your product / service
Show an emotional testimonial
Ideally include some pictures too

For the Monkeys - those people with ego and like value and shiny objects

Add in things of value i.e. joint ventures, joint press releases, joint newsletters etc
Add in additional benefits or extras
Add in some things to stroke their ego
Add in EXTRA BENEFITS

It will also help if you identify the dominant animal personality right up front in your sales meeting and then you can tailor the words and phrases that you use to make sure youre appealing to their nature. This is especially important if youre a different dominant personality than they are.

I got caught out with this recently by not giving enough detail to an elephant (Im more of a monkey) and I am now writing my proposals and sales letters to include elements from all different personality types.

Make sure you do too and you may find that by including information relevant to that personality, you have more chance of securing the business.

One of the key ways to reduce resistance and allow abundance into our lives is to accept and welcome all parts of ourselves in the challenging process of healing. This means that we need to welcome and accept our fears, our conflicts and even our irritation or frustration about difficult topics. This means we need to be open to welcoming those parts of us that we have habitually avoided or rejected. This is not easy to do, however, it's necessary, and isn't it time you welcome yourself?

So, Are You Welcome?

If your attitude towards yourself is not welcoming, then there will still be the energy of resistance within your vibration. The energy of resistance blocks abundance. If you don't accept and welcome your challenging feelings as well as your thoughts and conflicts, then you can't move forward as much as you deserve to...

A simple way to know which thoughts or feelings you need to start welcoming more is to list the different feelings or conflicts that may be challenging. Make a short list of your feelings that you don't like, your moods you wish you didn't have, your emotional conflicts, and then notice which ones give you a very strong emotional charge. And then, you'll be able to apply tapping to those thoughts or feelings that you have trouble welcoming.

Remember that our thoughts
are real and carry energy...
Our vibration matters!

If your attitude is welcoming to all of you, you will release resistance in your overall vibration. And this of course, will help you start to attract emotional, spiritual and physical abundance into your life. If you are constantly rejecting parts of yourself, it's hard to become your "best" you.

Weight Training for Longevity

My intention in writing this article is to pass along the most fundamental, but equally most important information I can about resistance training using weights. While there are a great many authors on this subject, my purpose is to guide you in this theater in accomplishing a strong, flexible, and functional body well into old age.

Use It or Lose It

Our muscles and skeleton provide a frame of reference for each other. As our need for strength increases, even if modestly, our frame or skeleton will also strengthen to provide a frame of reference. In other words, as our muscles grow and strengthen, our bones will have to as well to deal with the stress. If a person does little in the way of exercise, the muscles will stay in a weakened state, and consequently, so will your bones. As we age, this becomes more of an issue in being able to withstand the most basic of physical stresses and only hastens our physical demise and potential for injury. Weight training can and will stave off the ravages of time and decreasing hormonal output and keep our bodies strong and better able to repair themselves, and we will maintain increased physical and mental vigor.

While it is never too late to begin such a program, the earlier you start in life, the better your discipline and training will become. I have been weight training for over thirty years as well as incorporating body weight training and what Charles Atlas used to refer to as dynamic tension. As I now have the opportunity to interview many people at gyms, I have come to see how little they really understand of what theyre doing and how little endurance most of them have.

Frequency Is Most Important

There is a plethora of information on types of exercise and routines to use. The single most important thing in all these is frequency of training. Most folks will never win a marathon or become a champion fighter by only training once a week. With regard to weight training, I diverge from the crowd. Most of the people I speak to train each muscle group only once per week. I train each group three times per week. For years I stuck with twice a week, until I came across a program from the Soviet Bloc in 1989 that advocated training three times per week; this program created a fundamental change in my whole approach. I realize I am hard-core and wouldnt ask the average person to try this as it is very taxing in terms of effort and time. So many people tell me that they are too sore to train twice a week per muscle group and that I must have good genetics to be able to recover so well and still train like this at the ripe old age of forty-six. This is hogwash. Any and all training routines are about discipline first. Nothing will be gained without effort and dedication. I was born a chronic asthmatic, and if I can manage a two-day split, then anyone can manage a three-day split (the entire body worked out in three days).

Frequency also applies to the amount of repetitions per set. Using a higher number of reps (the number of times you press or pull the weight before failure) will build strength and endurance. Endurance is just as or more important than strength alone. Remember the joke Robert Duvall told Sean Penn about the bulls in the movie Colors? Strength means very little if youve blown yourself away after only sixty seconds of effort.

If It Hurts, Dont Do It

Sounds pretty simple, doesnt it? You wouldnt believe how many people do exercises in a fashion that is unnatural for the body. Getting hit by a car years ago showed me pretty quickly what works and what doesnt for my back. I have known so many people who are in constant pain because of constantly performing the same exercises because they were told they should. Listen to your body. Pain is your body telling you that something is wrong. Figure it out. Change the way you do the exercise, and see if that makes a difference. If you keep pushing through the pain, you will be headed for surgery or incapacity. This will be counterproductive to achieving a strong body. Whenever possible, use dumbbells. These allow for a broad range of motion and certainly task the muscles more effectively than any bar can do. If you experience pain when pressing a bar overhead, you may find this goes away by simply using dumbbells and rotating your hands ninety degrees. Simple, but it works.

Isolating the Muscle Isolates the Joint

Again, I will break precedent with so many in the weight lifting field. Your limiting factor in weight training or any other form of exercise is how well your tendons and ligaments deal with the stress. Connective tissue takes much longer to strengthen or repair if damaged. Your body was never meant to push or pull in an isolated manner. When you pick up a child or push a wheelbarrow, your body works as a cohesive unit. If you use equipment that isolates a particular muscle group, such as a preacher bench for bicep curls, you also focus undue stress on your elbows. Most folks who use a preacher have ripping pain in their elbows as they curl. And yet they continue as they love the pump. To what end? When you cant pick up your kid anymore because of shoulder or elbow pain, how are you better off? Use exercises that allow your body to support what youre doing.

A good many of gym exercises and the equipment to perform them are a waste of time and can lead to debilitating injury.

Slow and Steady

To stay healthy and continue to build strength and endurance, you should always focus on style and never speed. I know all about the speed training techniques and the reasoning behind them. I also know all about ripped muscles and, worse, detached or torn tendons. Fast twitch muscle, if trained strong enough, is capable of overcoming the associated tendons. It is all too easy to cause injury when you move a weight too fast.

When you have to push a car, you apply yourself in the correct manner automatically. If you took a good run at the car and slammed into it, the car probably wouldnt budge, and you would be the worse off for trying.

No Excuses

Now I know there are a great many people who will say that they cant afford the expense or time of a gym or any training program that keeps them from home. Id like to think Ive heard all the excuses. Buy a pull-up/dip station for your home. Weight training is not limited to iron weights. You carry around the best tool possible: your body. Most weight lifters will never accomplish ten reps of pull-ups, but with a little time and work, you will be able to perform twenty to twenty-five of these nonstop. The same goes with dips. Several sets of these two or three times a week will give you incredibly strong shoulder, back, and chest muscles. Look at the bodies of gymnasts. Again, endurance is key to overall strength and longevity.

There is a gentleman by the name of Matt Furey who has numerous publications about body weight training. These are definitely worth looking into as you will be challenged to perform even a few reps when you first get started. The only equipment youll need to bring to the party is your body. Now you have no excuse not to get started.

Stretch, Stretch, and Stretch

Ever marvel at the power and speed of cats? Watch their stretching routine. The joints are opened, never compressed. This allows power to flow effortlessly. Look at how many people are stooped and inflexible in their older years. This is due to inactivity, both muscular contraction and expansion or stretching. Stretching will keep the tendons and joints flexible and impart greater strength to the body than resistance training alone. I know too many people who are broken down in their prime due to too much strain on their bodies without the counterbalance of stretching. This is probably the most overlooked area of strength building. Yoga is a marvelous adjunct to any training routine.

Vary Your Workout

Routine: the word implies dull and dead-end. In my program, I have two light days with high reps, two medium days with more weight and moderately high reps, and two power days with lower reps and heavy weight. Dont always start with the same body part. Change the type of exercise for each body part every two weeks or so. Stay on high reps (up to twenty) for a month, and then switch to lower reps with greater weight for a month. Your body will continually respond and adapt. If you become bored, your trainingand consequently, your resultswill reflect this.

Last but Not Least

Whatever you do, do it for you. If you wish to alter your being because somebody else is pushing your buttons, you wont last long. Make it a lifelong commitment for a long and healthy life. My personal motto here is And the weak shall inherit the girth.

Wedding Planning Choosing Your Wedding Venue

One of the first tasks on your wedding planning list will be finding the right venues for your ceremony and wedding reception. You may already have somewhere in mind or you may be looking for somewhere extra special. Some couples will choose the same venue for the ceremony and reception, whilst others will have separate locations.

Whatever your choice, here are some handy tips to bear in mind when it comes to finding a suitable venue.

- When you go for meetings both of you should attend if possible.
- Always take a note pad and pen to take down any notes.
- Make a list of questions you want to ask before the meeting.
- When considering a possible venue take into account your budget, distance from your ceremony venue (if separate), number of guests, your wedding theme and the atmosphere you want to create.
- Consider what will make your wedding special and what is important to you.

What is important is to take into consideration your wedding budget, how much work you are prepared to do, your guests comfort and accessibility. It is always worth looking at several places which offer different things and then weighing up the pros and cons afterwards. The cheapest option may not necessarily be the best, whilst a more expensive package may stretch your budget but will give you everything you want on the day.

Vitamin C - The Overlooked Miracle Drug

In medical school, there is little or no time spent on vitamins, and thousands of hours of instructions spent on pharmaceuticals (drugs). As a result, most MDs are educationally handicapped about vitamins.

In the days of wooden ships and iron men, the most dreaded disease was scurvy. It was the result of a lack of vitamin C. Captain Cook and others found that a little bit of lemon or lime juice every few days prevented it, and kept their sailors better able to do their duty to King and Country. This is where the term limey came to be applied to English sailors.

THE MYTH: At the beginning of the last century, the then US government became somewhat more worried about the public health than todays government, and funded several cereal companies to research and find a minimum amount of vitamins that would prevent the deficiency diseases of scurvy, pellagra, and beri-beri.

Of course, the cereal companies were mostly concerned about pellagra and beri-beri, (deficiencies of niacin - then known as B3, and a deficiency of B2. So, they set up a MINIMUM DAILY ALLOWANCE (MDA) chart. It was (and is) designed to just be barely enough to prevent these three terrible deficiency diseases. It has been modified and added to along the way.

Also, along the way, the food industry lobbied successfully to change that name to Recommended Daily Allowance. This sounds better, and it leads the public to believe (as they now do) that this RDA is somehow good enough for good health. The RDA is definitely NOT sufficient for good health. Thats the myth that has been promoted by advertising. The RDA amounts are barely enough to prevent bad health. Particularly with vitamin C.

Because of this wide belief, even researchers are misled. Since the RDA for vitamin C is only 75 mg (less than one orange a day), then anything 5-10 times that amount MUST be a megadose. And that amount is used to test vitamin C, and to scientifically prove that vitamin C cannot cure a cold, a flu, or a virus borne disease at all. Take any such studies with a salt shaker!

What isnt well known is the actual RDA for good health. It turns out that is about 4000 mg (4 grams) of vitamin C per day per 150 pounds of every primate. Every zoo vet knows this and since a 150 pound ape is very valuable, they carefully make sure that they get this amount in food and supplemental vitamin C. Since vitamin C only lasts in the bloodstream for 4 hours or so, splitting up any dosage Is best. I use 2 grams AM and PM for this reason.

You should know that all primates, including the apes (and us) lost a very important enzyme some 65 million years ago that chemically changed glucose (blood sugar) into Vitamin C in the blood. Virtually all other animals actually manufacture vitamin C in their bodies, increasing it with stress and or disease. Thats why cats, dogs, vultures, and other animals can eat dead meat loaded with bacteria and not get sick. (if we could get that enzyme back, wed be very healthy with all the junk food that transforms into glucose.) Oh well!

That ratio of about 4 grams per 150 pounds of body weight seems to be pretty good one for establishing good health guidelines for vitamin C. A small mouse generates a proportional average amount of vitamin C daily. So does a cow, or an elephant. The actual amounts that are generated depend on how much is needed to combat any stress, fight germs, etc. Studies show that most animals can generate i0 times this average as needed.

I weigh about 200 pounds, and I eat enough whole fruits so that I believe that 4 grams per day is right for me. I take 2 grams with breakfast, and 2 more grams at supper, leaving the noon for taking of other vitamins and minerals. This way, the supplemental minerals needed arent taken out of the bloodstream by the vitamin C too fast.

VITAMIN C AND GERMS: Probably the most important job that vitamin C does is kill bacteria and virus cells in the bloodstream. Lets call them both germs for simplicity. Remember that this killing is only effective in the bloodstream. If germs get into an organ or a cell, vitamin C cannot reach them.

Vitamin C kills invaders by combining with them, and this uses up the available vitamin C fairly quickly. Bacteria and viruses multiply quickly. Both double in about 20 minutes. This means that if you take only enough vitamin C to kill off half of the invader before being used up, in another 20 minutes, the invader is back up to the previous strength.

Very few of those scientists use much more than a few grams of C in their tests. Lets say that 2000 mg is used. That might kill half of the invaders as in the example above. Or, lets be very generous. Lets say that that dose kills off 99% of the invaders. Would you believe that it only takes 140 minutes to get back to original strength?

The above is why it is necessary to saturate the blood with vitamin C, and keep it saturated for some time in order to kill all the invaders. This takes massive amounts of vitamin C. Now you see why some of the scientific studies on vitamin C are not so scientific at all. Again, a clear case of educationally handicapped.

VITAMIN C AND BOWEL TOLERANCE; While it is impossible to harm yourself by overdosing on vitamin C, there is a point where the overdose causes diarrhea. This is actually a very interesting signal. Where this saturation point is for any individual is different, and dependent on several factors, Bowel tolerance is used by alternate therapists to determine actual saturation level. Overdose until that point where diarrhea just starts, then cut down to just below that point.

The problem is how to cut down to that point just before diarrhea. Cut down too little and you run the risk of the germs recovering, multiplying, and getting out of hand again. Too much, and diarrhea may cause dehydration. (Diarrhea aint much fun anyway.)

Whenever I even think I might have a flu or cold coming on, I start taking 2 grams every hour until I just start diarrhea. Then I cut to every 2 hours or maybe every 2.5 hours trying to keep the bloodstream saturated with vitamin C, and trying to just keep at that point between blood saturation and diarrhea.

As the germs are killed, that bowel tolerance gets lower and lower, so you have to keep cutting back just to the point below diarrhea.

If you dont get to that bowel tolerance, then you didnt get enough vitamin C. Ive seen patients get to 65 grams of vitamin C in one day. I sometimes get to over 40 grams in a day with flu, but its over in 24 hours.

VITAMIN C AND CANCER: Vitamin C research on cancer isnt new at all. Our only two time Nobel prize winner - Linus Pauling - wrote at length on this subject. He did a research in Scotland with 100 terminal cases of cancer and 1000 other terminal cases used as controls. (Terminal cases means that the persons have an estimated 3-6 months to live). The test patients got 10 grams per day in divided doses, and the controls got none.

The results were startling. As I recall, about 80-90% of the controls had died while most of the tested ones were still living. At the end, all the controls died, while at least 40-50% of the tested ones were alive, and many of those were still alive 5 years later after full remission.

Once again, education handicap is present, Few MDs realize that it takes very large amounts of vitamin C to saturate the blood, and without this, the virus wins because of the reproduction rate. Adding vitamin C via injection is much simpler for large amounts.

Cancer has been found to be mediated by virus cells for many cancers. However, there are several cancers - prostate, cervical, vagina and breast cancers that are mediated by hormones, and vitamin C is impotent against these.

An ironic fact: Linus actually died from prostate cancer, yet he was taking 18 grams a day of vitamin C. That mediation factor was unknown to him obviously.

As you can easily see, that RDA figure of 75 mg is woefully short, and leaves us very susceptible to both bacterial and viral diseases.

Vitamin C and Chelation: This brings us to one of most important uses of vitamin C - chelation of minerals, particularly the heavy metals which are toxic in very small quantit6ies.

Chelate means to grab onto, and there are several different chelators used today. The standard is a chemical called EDTA, and you can sit in an MDs office with a needle in your arm for an hour, a couple of times per week for a few months or more, and it will take out any heavy metal that is toxic.

While vitamin C isnt a true chelator, it works the same magic of removing minerals from the bloodstream. It does it by combining with all minerals (good and bad) and making a new chemical out of the combination that is water soluble. This means that it can be filtered out by the kidneys and excreted by the urine pathway.

Remember that it takes out ALL minerals, so you MUST supplement with needed minerals while chelating out all.

A new one called zeolite has had mixed reports, and there are several more touted on some alternate health web sites. I cannot recommend them, as I have no experience with them.

The problem is that so-called heavy metals are toxic to human in even small amounts. These include mercury, arsenic, lead, cadmium, and even excess copper. (I worked with several schizophrenic persons with excess copper chelating it out successfully in my former practice.)

Since I was not an MD, I couldnt prescribe EDTA or other chelators. So, I learned that vitamin C works just as well as any chelator. It also has several advantages over the commercial chelation therapies as well. First, the cost is much lower. Next, you have much better overall health while getting the problem solved, even if it takes a year or two. Last, and certainly not least, there is no danger whatsoever.

YOU CANT OVERDOSE ON VITAMIN C! The worst that can happen, even to a baby, is that it may cause diarrhea.

There are some MDs that have been using chelation for years to take out excess calcium. Remember that vitamin C takes out all minerals, so while chelating in any way, you have to put back in the good minerals your body needs. (This is why you take any mineral supplements at least 4 hours after taking vitamin C.)

The idea here is to get the calcium so low that even the calcium that is the backbone of the plaque in the arteries and veins is taken out. The rest of the plaque consists of fat deposits that are washed away by the bloodstream easily. This therapy is much cheaper than by-pass surgery and much safer with no deaths recorded. I recommend using it instead of by-pass surgery.

Mineral Measurement: There are several ways to measure all the minerals, but none are very accurate. If you measure the blood, you get a measurement of what it was when the sample was taken, and that may be very different a few hours later.

Because all minerals are excreted thru urine, a sample there is slightly better, although it also can vary widely. A 24 hour collection is much more accurate.

Another excretion route for minerals is the hair and fingernails. The bloodstream deposits the minerals into those cells. Hair is a perfect biopsy material. It doesnt spoil, and can be shipped across country in a simple envelope.

This method is pretty accurate, but theres a confusion factor. There is a huge difference between the minerals that are needed in the body, and toxic minerals. The minerals that are toxic are recognized and are very quickly taken out of the bloodstream by the liver and stored in various places in the attempt to keep them out of the brain where they may cause actual brain damage.

Since the ratios of these toxic minerals are measured against the regular needed minerals,
If there is little or no chelating agent in the blood stream, the brain will not release those toxic minerals from storage.
In autistic children, the levels of vitamin C and glutathione (natural chelators) are often found very low. Supplementation of glutathione doesnt seem to be very effective, and most MDs dont even know about vitamin C as a chelator. So, the result of tests for mercury in many autistic children often shows up negative, even if the child is loaded with mercury in storage.

This, in my opinion is part of the controversy about mercury in vaccines causing autism. The usual testing for mineral toxicity just isnt accurate enough for these children.

If you want to test your mineral status, and particularly your toxic mineral status, start loading up on vitamin C for at least a few days prior to either a blood or urine test, and a couple of months before a hair analysis. This pre-loading allows the release of any toxic minerals from storage into the bloodstream and subsequent excretion.

One last point about vitamin C. It is made from corn sugar. There are many people in the US who are allergic to corn. If anyone has allergic reactions to multiple vitamins, its often because of corn allergy, and its unknown as such to the person. If this is the case, you will have to use Calcium Ascorbate instead of plain Ascorbic Acid. The CA form is generally non allergenic.

Just released this past weekend,. the Motorola Droid from Verizon Wireless is the first phone to truly challenge the iPhone's supremacy. True, the BlackBerry Storm (and now Storm2) claimed to make that charge, but the Storm is still a BlackBerry, and never t'will the BlackBerry and iPhone user ever truly meet.

This is not the case with the Droid from Motorola. Exclusive from Verizon, the Droid operates on the Android 2.0 platform which is significantly more efficient than the previous array of Android 1.6 phones on the market. It is also more social network friendly (you can truly annoy all your Facebook friends from ANYWHERE!).

One of the first things you notice about the Droid is its screen, which is truly better than that sported by the iPhone. It possesses a 3.7 inch capacitive screen with striking 480854-pixel resolution. Also, unlike the iPhone 3GS, you also have a full slide out QWERTY keyboard. This makes the mobile experience all that much more powerful. It is almost like having a fully functional PC in your pocket, save that it's a lot cooler and only weight a few ounces.

The camera is also a heavyweight feature. At 5.0 megapixels it rivals all phone based cameras on the market. It also comes with an autofocus and an LED flash feature. As expected, the Droid also has a suite of photo editing software so that you can manipulate pictures right there on the device and upload them to social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace.

As far as space goes, the Droid comes out of the box with a 16 gigabyte microSD card. If that isn't enough, the device will support a microSD card up to 32 gigabytes in size.

More importantly, if you are a Verizon Wireless customer, there isn't another smartphone in the Verizon selection that remotely rivals the Droid. The Storm2 is great and all, but it does not have the multimedia fuctionality and crisp streaming capabilities of the Droid. Plus, if you are set on the iPhone, you would have to sign up with AT&T, which means you are sacrificing both coverage and network speed.

Unlike AT&T, Verizon's 3G network can actually deliver on the Motorola Droid's capabilities. Live streaming video and tv is seamless on the droid, and the internal graphics processor makes it entirely so.

Without a doubt, the future of Verizon Wireless lies in the hands of the Droid. Both Verizon and Motorola promise an app library that will rival the iPhone, which is still the iPhone's strongest feature at the moment. With WiFi, Bluetooth and every other connectivity mode you could possibly want, the Droid delivers across the board. If you can stomach a change from AT&T's unreliable phone service, get a Droid and ditch the iPhone. You simply will not be sorry.

Common aspects of Energy Psychology

Regardless of their different approaches, all forms of energy psychology have some of the following aspects in common

1. We can employ them by ourselves on ourselves.

2. These methods, as a rule, generate quick and often permanent results.

3. They can be employed directly on any emotions including fear, anxiety, emotional and physical pain as well as anger, guilt bitterness and rejection.

4. They can be used to reduce physical symptoms and in some cases remove even the causes of psychosomatic illness.

5. They can also aid us in getting free from chemical addictions such as nicotine, caffeine, sugar, chocolate and even heavy drugs.

How is this done?

1. We focus on the emotional or physical disturbance we want to release and evaluate how intense it is. We establish the Subjective Units of Disturbance, in which we evaluate the intensity of our emotion, desire or physical discomfort from 0 to 10, where 0 means there is no disturbance at all and 10 means that it is extremely high. In this way, we develop the ability to objectivity the disturbance as something separate from ourselves and have a sense of how much it increases or decreases or whether the problem exists at all.

2. The second step is to accept whatever we are feeling and to accept ourselves with whatever we are feeling. Acceptance is basic for freeing up the energy for change. We can use an affirmation like even though I have this (__________ specific emotion or problem), I love and accept myself. This is done in order to let go of any shame of anger that we have concerning our feelings. Some of us tend to suppress or ignore our emotions.

3. The next step is to be willing to let go of the emotion or disturbance. This is not always the case. We may have a subconscious need to hold on to our pain, anger or problem for various reasons that are discussed in detail in the book Free To be Happy with Energy Psychology and at www.HolisticHarmony.com.

4. We then focus directly on the emotional or physical disturbance concerning a certain stimulus, such as an event, behavior, situation, idea or even a thought in our mind about the past or future. It might even be the result of chemical or hormonal changes.

Each particular emotion or state of mind is a habituated energy structure, which was learned in the past and reproduces itself whenever our older programmed brain synapses are activated creating the message that we are in danger. In spite of our logic and wisdom, we are forced by these habituated energy fields created by our outdated, but certainly active, programming, to feel anxiety, fear, hurt, anger, guilt and the repercussions of these emotional disturbances on our bodies, minds, relationships and happiness. This is especially true when we subconsciously or consciously believe that our security, self-worth, freedom or pleasures are in danger.

5. The next step is to change our energy state while we are focused on the particular emotion, disturbance, physical pain or discomfort. This is done in various ways, depending on the particular technique and also the various versions of each technique. Some of the techniques include tapping on certain acupuncture points in order to get the energy to change. Others depend on placing our hands on certain energy centers. Others are based on alternative eye movements. Some focus on developing alternative perceptions of what is happening.

When we successfully change our emotional state in relationship to specific stimulus that then changes how we react emotionally, chemically, hormonally and electronically to that specific situation. This means that our hypothalamus excretes different peptides and our brain creates new synapses in relation to the same stimuli, which until now was disturbing to us. When this is done a number of times, this new more positive perception and reaction become our new norm.

How do we employ EFT?

In this section we will give only the bare basics concerning how to do EFT. If you would like more information, we would suggest the book Free to be Happy with Energy Psychology and or the sites www.emofree.com or www.holisticharmony.com/eft/index.asp

Step 1. The Setup

a. We bring to mind the emotion or physical problem we want to free ourselves from.

b. We estimate the SUD or subjective units of discomfort (or disturbance) from 0 to 10, where zero means no discomfort, emotion or pain whatsoever and ten means the highest we can imagine.

c. Now we correct for psychological reversal or resistance to feeling better, just in case it is present, by tapping on the side of the hand at the point on the hand where we would hit a piece of wood if we were hitting it with a karate chop.
1. We tap on the side of the hand while repeating three times the phrase, Even though I have this (fill in your emotion or physical problem) _______, I deeply and profoundly love and accept myself.
2. Then we tap on the side of the other hand repeating three times, I choose to be free from this ______ (fill in your emotion or physical problem). You can also use in place of the word choose, the words want, agree, deserve or accept or - it is in my benefit to be free from ____(fill in your emotion or physical problem).

Step 2: The Tapping Sequence

We are now ready to tap on the eight points so as to remove the disturbance in the energy field.

These points are usually the beginning or end points of the acupuncture meridians (energy channels) and can be seen on the accompanying diagram. We tap on them about seven times each in this sequence. It really does not matter how many times you tap. It should however be more than five.

This initiates the flow of energy through these energy channels, thus correcting the disturbance in the energy field associated with that problem. Tapping should have a good pace - not too slow - and with an abrupt percussive hit on each tap. But never too hard, painful or in anyway damaging.

Except for the point in the top of the head, where we tap with all the fingers of both hands, we tap with the tips of the index and middle finger of each hand. The area covered by these two fingers is larger than the area of the points themselves and gives us a safety factor of hitting on the point when we tap. We have modified the process and tap with both hands on the same points symmetrically placed on the right and left side of the body. This can be done with alternative tapping which stimulates the right and left hemisphere of the brain as we tap. This alternative stimulation is also very useful in changing the energy field and in a way combines the methods of EFT and EMDR.

Reminder Phrase

As we tap at each point, we can verbally, or perhaps mentally in cases where we do not want to be heard, repeat the reminder phrase. The reminder phrase is simply a declaration of which emotional energy field we are tapping on. This helps us to be focused on this particular energy field as we tap, correcting it with our tapping.

Thus, the reminder phrase will mention the emotion, physical problem or desire we are tapping for and perhaps also the stimulus for that.

For example:

Fear of heights.
Fear of speaking in front of others
Fear of being abandoned
Fear of not having enough money.
Fear of being attacked.
Fear of old age.
Fear of failure.
Fear of losing a loved one.
Fear of losing my job.
Anger when they correct me.
Pain in the lower back.
Anxiety about this test.

The points

Refer to the accompanying diagram to see where the points are located. We are also mentioning, for those interested, the acupuncture meridians and the numbers of the points where we tap. It is not necessary to know or understand these.

In our modified version, we usually tap in this sequence:

1. top of the head (Governing Vessel, point #20) and on the line connecting the top of the head with the center of the forehead. This is done with all the fingers so that the acupuncture points on the ends of the fingers and thumbs are also stimulated by this process.

On the rest of the points we tap with the index and middle fingers of each hand.

2. The corner of the eyebrow where it unites with the bridge of the nose. Referred to as EB Eyebrow point. (Bladder Meridian 2)

3. The side of the eye on the temple. SE - side of eye. (Gall Bladder 1) Here we can also tap towards the back and behind the ears.

4. Under the eye at the upper part of the cheek bone. UE - under eye. (Stomach Meridian 2)

*5. Under the nose and above the lip. UN - under nose (Governing Vessel Meridian 25 - 26)

*6. Under the lower lip and above the chin. Ch chin (Conception Vessel Meridian 24)

* When tapping on these two points on hand can be above the lips and the other below.

7. Under the armpit on the side of the body approximately level with the nipples. UA - under arm (Spleen Meridian 21)

8. Under the collarbone and directly to the left and right of the sternum. This is in the soft spot just below the collarbone (the highest horizontal bone on the front of the body) and to the side of the sternum (the vertical bone in the center of the chest) CB - collarbone point. (Kidney Meridian 27)

9. On the side of the hand where you would hit a piece of wood if doing karate. KC - karate chop point. (Small Intestine Meridian 3-4)
This is the same point we tapped on while correcting for psychological reversal.

The following points that are the ends of the fingers are stimulated when tapping on the top of the head with all the fingers. If , however, you prefer, you can tap on them separately.

a. On the outside of the thumb at the point where the nail unites with the skin. (If you place your palms on your abdomen, the part you tap on will be turned up towards your head.) Th - Thumb point. (Lung Meridian 11)

b. On the outside of the index finger at the point where the nail unites with the skin. (If you place your palms on your abdomen, the part you tap on will be turned up towards your head.) IF - index finger. (Large Intestine Meridian 1)

c. On the outside of the middle finger at the point where the nail unites with the skin. (If you place your palms on your abdomen, the part you tap on will be turned up towards your head.) MF - middle finger. (Circulation - sex Meridian 9)

d. On the outside of the little finger at the point where the nail unites with the skin. (If you place your palms on your abdomen, the part you tap on will be turned up towards your head.) BF - baby finger. (Heart Meridian 9)

Except for the points above and below the lips, all of the rest are located on the right and left sides of the body. We suggest that you tap alternatively on the right and left.

We do this process of tapping from the top of the head down to the karate point three times as we focus on the emotion.

Evaluating the SUD

We now focus on the thought, emotion, desire or physical problem, which was disturbing us, and evaluate where our SUD (our degree of disturbance) is.
We seek to determine whether it has:
a. Risen? (It can sometimes - but seldom)
b. Stayed the same?
c. Dropped? (Which means we feel less disturbed when we focus on this.)

When the SUD Does Not Go Down

If it has risen or stayed the same, then we perform the next round exactly as the previous. Having now measured our present SUD, we perform:

1. The set up; rubbing or tapping with the appropriate corrective phrases for possible psychological reversal (this is even more important now, because, as the discomfort has not subsided at all, there is greater possibility of the presence of psychological reversal).

2.The sequence tapping the twelve points repeating the reminder phrase.

Having done a second round, we then again evaluate and if the disturbance still has not come down - which is rare, we do exactly the same again.

If we are not getting results, then we will need to seek to understand why. Refer to the sources mentioned above or consult a EFT practitioner for help.

When the SUD Does Come Down

When the SUD comes down even slightly we alter the process slightly.

1. In the setup while rubbing the sore spot or tapping the side of the hand, we now refer to the problem as remaining _____.

For example the phrase might be:

Even though I have this remaining fear of heights (spiders, snakes, darkness, elevators - whatever it might be), I deeply and profoundly love myself.

or

Even though I have this remaining pain in my lower back, I deeply and profoundly love myself.

The word remaining here is important because it allows our tapping to address the specific energy field, which is remaining. Also it psychologically reminds us that the discomfort is less and falling.

2. In the step 2 sequence, while tapping on the twelve points we refer to remaining ______

Examples:

Remaining fear of heights
Remaining fear of elevators.
Remaining anger
Remaining lower back pain.

At this point we complete our round.

We now check the SUD again.

Whether it has gone down or not, we now continue with the setup and reminder phrases which refer to the remaining _____.

We can repeat stages 1 and 2 as many times as we need to until the emotion or physical problem has been seriously reduce or eliminated.

Once we have reduced the emotion or physical problem, we then move on to the balancing process.

Step 3 - The Balancing process

This is the strangest part of the procedure. Some people feel silly when they first perform it. It, however, plays the role of balancing the energies and the activity of the right and left hemisphere of the brain between tapping sequences.

We tap on the groove created by the bones leading from the wrist to the knuckles of the smallest two fingers (ring finger and little finger). The tapping is done in the groove towards the knuckles. (Thyroid 3)

As we tap around three to five times a second, we make the following movements and procedure.

1. Keeping the head straight, we look hard down right.
2. Keeping the head straight, we look hard down left.
3. Keeping the head straight, we make circles with the eyes to the right.
4. Keeping the head straight, we make circles with the eyes to the left.
5. We hum a few bars of any song (Gary likes Happy Birthday) (two to five seconds)
6. We count from one to five out loud (unless you do not want to be heard)
7. We hum a few bars of any tune again. (Two to five seconds)

This may seem silly, but it does help to balance the energies. When we hum and count and hum, we activate the two hemisphere of the brain.

In this way most people will have become free from their specific problem in one to five rounds. If you do not, consult the sources below.

STAGE FOUR Once we have diminished the disturbance and balanced the energy, we are now ready to install the positive perception, idea or belief, that frees us from that particular emotion. Some of these alternative perceptions are discussed in this book. We choose the new positive idea that we want to strengthen and then repeat stage two, tapping on all the same points in the same way, while having in mind the stimulus but at each point as we tap, we now repeat to ourselves (verbally or mentally) the new belief or perception. Focus on feeling and believing what you are repeating.
We continue this until we are able to bring to mind the stimulus and still be able to be in touch with the new belief.

STAGE FIVE: Once we have succeed in this we can balance the energy once again as described stage 3.

STAGE 6: We can now employ any method of altering our state of mind such as Freeze Frame, Sedona or Hooponopono, or deep relaxation with positive thoughts and projections. (All are described in this book.)

Using EFT to Boost New Year Resolutions

Its that time of year again, where we turn our thoughts towards our hopes and desires for the fresh New Year. But how quickly do you think they will run into the sand? What happened to last years grand ideas? If you need a bit of help following your desires, try using this brief guide to Gary Craig's Palace of Possibilities. Much under-used, it is a goldmine of information on how to keep setting out our desires and achieving them, creating abundance in ways beyond the purely financial. There is no limit to what you can achieve when you follow these 5 steps.

Step 1 - create a good affirmation. This is one that is believable and gets your creative and imaginative juices running. Don't rush off way out of your comfort zone lest you get discouraged when there are no results for a long time. You can always make another one later anyway, so go easy and take small steps to begin with. Make sure you get some feelings behind it, which may be feelings of safety and security, feeling alive, humming with excitement, a warm glow in your heart. These are the real drivers of the show, so take your time and gather together as many as you can.

If you notice those feelings flicker and die, thats ok because it just means its time to go onto Step 2. Youre not ready to hold those feelings permanently yet.

Remember a good affirmation is stated in the present tense. I like to start off with "I easily, consistently and joyfully ............" or "I safely and easily ........."
Some people create visual images in their minds eye, whilst others find that creating a vision board containing magazine pictures, words and photos does it for them.

Step 2 - note the tail enders. This involves focus and awareness. This is also where a coach is incredibly useful, because he or she won't see the writing on your walls. They can help you challenge more beliefs. Tail enders can be thoughts or feelings, or sometimes just an uncomfortable bodily sensation with no identification. You may have already noticed quite a few coming up just doing Step 1
So just stop and switch focus to what you are feeling and do a little tapping for whats there.
Even though I think this is going to be a waste of time
Even though that works for other people its just not going to work for me
Even though a part of me wants to dream about wonderful things, theres also this other part that doesnt want to do this and nobody can make me.
Even though Im afraid of the disappointment of failing again so Id rather not get too hyped up at this stage just in case
Even though it doesnt feel safe to have any desires because I know whats happened to me in the past and I dont want to go there again.
Even though it feels like such a good idea now, I know I wont be able to keep it up for long.

Step 3 - use the basic EFT techniques for eliminating or transforming those beliefs. This may involve healing past traumas or events, self-forgiveness, or just realising the ridiculousness of a particular belief when you come to tap on it. e.g. "it's going to take forever to get to the end of my tail enders - there must be so many of them" - and why must that be true? Ha Ha!

Step 4 - install the affirmation as a new belief by tapping the EFT points, and maybe you will find you are now holding the feelings it inspires in you longer and longer each time you do so.

Step 5 - Live the life of your dreams. No explanation needed but it will take some changing your habits and routines. Just go gently and notice how differently you feel if you live today as though you had the abundance you desire. That doesnt mean you should go out and blow thousands of dollars on something you cannot afford right now; it means live in the feeling of living the life of your dreams. Notice where your focus drifts off to, and just gently guide it back again and again to the affirmation.

Step 6 Give gratitude daily for all your abundance. Now this is where a lot of people find it really hard work. Gratitude is like a muscle that you havent used in ages. You hardly even know where to find it. So try starting with something really easy, so easy that its usually overlooked. The food on your table and in your cupboards; the clean water in your taps; the roof over your head; the nice furnishings; the sun shining a little today; the computer youre using to read this article; the people who share their experience and knowledge so freely; friends, neighbours, family - oops! As soon as you notice that gratitude feeling start to slip, go back to step 2 because it means youve discovered yet another tail ender.

Keep a gratitude journal if you like that sort of thing. It does help on the days when it feels as though you have nothing to be grateful for at all, because you can refer to previous days for inspiration, and be grateful that on that day you had something to feel grateful about!

I simply remember my favourite things, and then I dont feel so bad.

Using EFT For Children - - Helping Them Focus, Feel Calmer and More Relaxed

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a powerful, easy to learn energy technique that can transform the quality of your life or business, often sky rocketing you to achieving goals or greater business success. That being said, it is also a wonderful technique to use with children of all ages - especially school aged children.

This technique is easy to learn, works quickly and painlessly, allowing a child to feel calmer and focus more clearly on the subjects or tasks at hand. You are about to be introduced a two step process of EFT that is quite beneficial in working with children.
It is great for improving attention and enabling the child to feel calmer, more focused and relaxed. You will also be introduced to two EFT shortcut procedures that many children find fun as well as quite effective to use.

When doing EFT, we use many of the same meridians or energy sensitive areas on the skin as with traditional acupuncture only instead of using needles, we activate these spots by gently tapping on them with our fingertips while focusing on a particular emotion, problem or issue we wish to resolve or release, such as anger or guilt.

In children, paying attention can be difficult for them at times which may cause stressful situations for the child, teacher or parent. The child may become moody, withdrawn, angry, sad, depressed or resentful and may act up or develop low selfworth as a result of this issue. Fortunately, Emotional Freedom Techniques can help your child focus more clearly, allowing him or her to pay closer attention to the teacher or you, the parent. This may also calm the child, which in turn will perpetuate a greater feeling of confidence and well being for the child, increasing their self confidence as well.

When dealing with an attention issue, EFT works remarkably well. There are actually two shortcuts that I will outline in this article that most children take to quite quickly as they are easy to do and, more importantly, FUN!

First, let's go over the traditional two step EFT process for such an issue.

The traditional EFT process has two steps:

1. The Set Up
2. The Reminder Phrase

Step 1. Set Up Phrase

The Set Up is where you initially identify your child's issue, problem or emotion. Once identified, you then have the child measure intensity of their issue (how strongly it effects them) using a scale from zero to 10 with zero having no effect what so ever and 10 being the most intense, uncomfortable effect possible. With children, this can be best determined by having them place their hands out and showing you how big the issue is. If the issue is big (very intense), their hands may be all the way apart. This would signify a 10. If the issue is small, their hands may be relatively close together. If the issue is resolved, their hands would be completely together, signifying a zero. Once you have found where the intensity is, jot this number down as you will refer back to it after doing the EFT procedure to see if any change occurred regarding how the child is feeling.

You will check their level of intensity or discomfort often as you use EFT to monitor their progress until they achieve a zero level for the particular emotion, issue or problem you are dealing with.

You begin the Set Up while having the child tap the Karate Chop Point and repeating the Set Up Phrase three times. For a free tapping chart, you can download one from my site at www.usinglawofattraction.com.

The standard Set Up Phrase is: "Even though I have this problem, I am still a totally awesome kid." (For teenagers, you may want to rephrase this to "I am still a totally awesome guy or person.")
Let's break this statement down a bit further so you can see the role each part plays.

The first part, "Even though I have this problem" (which could be an emotion such as guilt or not paying attention in class), begins focusing the subconscious mind on the issue you wish to resolve or release.

The second part of the statement, "I am still a totally awesome kid", allows the subconscious mind to accept this issue and begin to release it. This is the portion that counter acts any potential resistance within the child.

In step one, a potential set up phrase might be: "Even though I have a problem paying attention in class, I am still a totally awesome kid". You would have the child state this phrase three times while tapping the Karate Chop Point.

When tapping, you generally have the child tap with their dominant hand. If the child is right handed, he/she will use all four fingertips of their right hand against the Karate Chop Point of their left hand during the Set Up, and use the index and middle finger tips to tap on the remaining nine meridians or EFT points using the EFT process outlined below (except under the arm and top of the head where they will use all four fingertips of their dominant hand). They will tap approximately seven to 10 times at each point but don't get hung up on counting the number of taps they do. As long as they continue tapping while stating the phrases or by following the outline, they will tap at least the required number of times.

To understand how hard to tap, imagine drumming your fingers across a table top. We have all done this, generally when bored. This is about how hard they will tap each point - just enough to make a nice bounce but not hard enough to hurt or bruise themselves. Tap along with them. This not only reinforces them, it validates them, encourages them and also adds energy to the session for the child. If you or the child wear glasses, it is best to remove them while doing EFT so that you have easier access to the points around the eyes.

Step 2. Reminder Phrase

After the Set Up, the next step is the Reminder Phrase. This is a scaled down version of the statement used during the Set Up. The Reminder Phrase we will use for this example will be, "paying attention in class".

The Reminder Phrase keeps the subconscious mind focused in on the issue or emotion, allowing the child to resolve or release it, enabling them to feel calmer and more relaxed and to actually be able TO focus and pay attention.

The Reminder Phrase is stated while tapping each of the remaining EFT points beginning at the top of the head and working down the body. Have the child tap each point using the index and middle fingertips of their dominant hand except at the top of the head and under arm points where they will use all four fingertips or the palm of the hand.

Tapping points and Reminder Phrase use:

Top of the Head: "Paying Attention In Class."
Eyebrow Point: "Paying Attention In Class."
Side of the Eye: "Paying Attention In Class."
Under the Eye: "Paying Attention In Class."
Under the Nose: "Paying Attention In Class."
Chin Point: "Paying Attention In Class."
Collarbone Point: "Paying Attention In Class."
Under the Arm: "Paying Attention In Class."

Once you have completed the entire process, you re-evaluate the intensity of the child's issue by having him/her stretch out their hands, showing how big the issue remains. Ask the child if any new feelings came up. Do they feel anything in any particular part of their body? Noting any change along with any new emotions or events help resolve issues much more rapidly. Paying attention to sensations in the child's body such as a tightness or heaviness are also clues there is further work to do. Perhaps they feel nothing at all. That's perfectly fine.

With EFT, persistence is the key to successfully releasing and resolving an issue or emotion. Pay attention to your child, how they feel and what they say. Note any new emotions or events that may have surfaced. Apply EFT to those feelings or memories and reassess their level of intensity by having them show you with their hands. If your child finds nothing, and feels no intensity, congratulations, your work on this issue is complete for now. If any remains, repeat the procedure, using "this remaining attention issue" as your child's issue in both the set up and reminder phrase. Continue until your child achieves a level of zero intensity.

When working with attention problems, persistence is key. Often, children find that tapping off and on during the day greatly helps them to remain focused and calm. Now you have the basics behind using the two step procedure of EFT. Here is a wonderful EFT shortcut. Often for attention issues, such as with ADHD, just tapping will do wonders. Once a child learns to tap, they generally enjoy how good it makes them feel and will tap for themselves without prompting.

Have the child do the following:

Top of the Head: Using the Palm of Their Hand, Tap 6-7 Times.
Eyebrow Point: Using Index and Middle Finger Tips, Tap 6-7 Times.
Side of Eye: Using Index and Middle Finger Tips, Tap 6-7 Times.
Under Eye: Using Index and Middle Finger Tips, Tap 6-7 Times.
Under Nose: Using Index and Middle Finger Tips, Tap 6-7 Times.
Chin Point: Using Index and Middle Finger Tips, Tap 6-7 Times.
Collarbone: Using Index and Middle Finger Tips, Tap 6-7 Times.
Under Arm: Using All Four Finger Tips, Tap 6-7 Times.

Repeat the above sequence three times and then throughout the day as needed. Your child, and you, should notice a marked improvement in the child's attention as well as the child feeling calmer and more relaxed.

An even quicker shortcut that children really enjoy doing is this fun and easy to learn EFT procedure. This is one teachers have found works beautifully to bring the entire classroom into focus. The shortcut procedure goes like this:

Top of Head: Tap With Palm of Hand Three Times.
Collarbone: Tap With Palm of Hand Three Times.
Tap Wrists Together Three Times.
Tap On Inside of Leg Above Right Ankle With Palm of Hand Three Times.
Tap On Inside of Leg Above Left Ankle With Palm of Hand Three Times.
Repeat the above sequence three times.

This shortcut is fun, quite effective, and works well to bring a child's focus onto the subject at hand. It can also help children to feel calmer and more productive.
Try these EFT procedures (the two step process and either or both of these EFT shortcuts) and see for yourself. The results will truly amaze you and your child. As with traditional EFT, if your child is dealing with a specific emotion, you can most certainly insert that issue into the standard setup phrase and tap on it to help them release the issue to feel calmer and more emotionally free. Primary school lessons on endangered species, camouflage, bones, habitats, li-fecycles and more. These lessons involve meeting a variety of animals and showing how the students can do their part to save the planet.

BedBUGS

This biodiversity and conservation exhibit is an incredible learning experience that is both fun and educational. The experience begins with a Q&A session with a dedicated host before getting up close to one of the zoos residents. Students can then enjoy an amazing torchlit tour of the facilities this allows them to see a different side to the zoo once all the keepers have gone home for the night and is sure to be a highlight for the group.

There are then several activities in the evening before settling down for the night. The accommodation can sleep up to 60 people with designated areas in the BUGS house, so there is no need for sleeping bags. The rooms are shared with a range of invertebrates (behind glass!) for a unique experience. Early in the morning, the group can enjoy the exhibitions before the doors open and then spend the rest of the day exploring.

London Zoo school trips will always be popular with youngsters, but the special Bed-BUGS experience is something that they will cherish forever. In addition to providing a different view of the facility, it will also educate them on hugely important issues and show how they can make a difference to the world that we share with the zoos residents.
